Agreement

By using this website or installing Optimate, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use either. Questions are welcome at hello@getoptimate.com.

Who we are

Optimate makes a free work system for people who run their own business. This website provides information about it, a waitlist, and the download itself.

What you're getting

Optimate Solo is software you install and run on your own computer. It is free for individual use, in full: no trial period, no locked features, no payment step. Paid products (such as a future cloud-based version) will have their own terms when they exist; nothing here commits you to them.

Your license

• You may install and use Optimate Solo for your own individual work, on your own machines.
• You may not redistribute it, resell it, repackage it as your own product, or offer it as a service to others.
• You may look inside it: it is plain files, and reading them is allowed and encouraged.

A plain-English license file ships inside the product. If it and this page ever disagree, the license file that shipped with your copy governs your copy.

Your files are yours

Everything Optimate organizes, writes, or remembers on your computer belongs to you. It lives in plain, readable files. If you stop using Optimate, delete it, or never touch it again, your files stay where they are, fully readable, and nothing we control can withhold them from you.

The ChatGPT requirement

Optimate runs through ChatGPT, a product of OpenAI. You need your own ChatGPT account to use it, OpenAI's own terms govern that account, and any ChatGPT subscription fee (such as ChatGPT Plus, about USD 20 a month) is paid to OpenAI, not to us. We are not affiliated with OpenAI and are not responsible for their service, pricing, or availability.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the website or the software for anything unlawful.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or break into this site or its services.
• Don't misrepresent an affiliation with Optimate.

No warranty

Optimate Solo is provided free, as is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, and we want to hear when it isn't (hello@getoptimate.com reaches a person), but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Optimate is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or data, business interruption, decisions made based on the software's output, or failures of third-party services (including OpenAI's). Your use is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Not professional advice

Optimate organizes your work; it does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. For decisions that need a qualified professional, use one.

Intellectual property

The Optimate software, the LEAD System, this website, and their branding belong to Optimate or its licensors. That ownership never extends to your files or your data, which remain yours (see "Your files are yours" above).

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be at this address with the date below updated. A change that meaningfully affects your rights will be announced by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are resolved in UAE courts. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remain in force.
